UAE ruler Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan has made an exciting announcement during the United Nations climate conference in Dubai. The UAE has established a $30 billion fund for global climate solutions. This fund aims to bridge the climate finance gap and stimulate $250 billion of investment by 2030. Sheikh Mohamed emphasized the countrys commitment to climate action, including achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 and a 40% reduction in emissions by 2030. The UAE has already invested $100 billion in financing climate action and plans to invest an additional $130 billion over the next seven years. The establishment of this climate fund showcases the UAEs dedication to accelerating the worlds transition to a low-emission economy.

105 students from grades 5 and 6 at SDN Tegal Caringin Elementary School in Sukabumi Regency participated in a mangrove tree planting activity at Muara Ciletuh Cikadal Beach. The activity was part of the School Goes to Geopark program and done in collaboration with Pokmasi Mandrajaya. The purpose was to educate students about the environment and set an example for other schools. The program also included activities such as an audience with speakers from Pokmasi, a boat ride, and beach cleaning. The students planted 100 mangrove trees.
