Construction of $1 trillion Line in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia is constructing The Line, a groundbreaking mega-city in the desert that has been dubbed a horizontal skyscraper. The project aims to create a city that stretches horizontally for miles instead of towering vertically like traditional skyscrapers. With a completion target of 2030, construction is already well underway, and it promises to be like nothing weve ever seen before. The Line is estimated to cost a staggering $500 billion and is part of the larger NEOM project, which is expected to cost a total of $1 trillion. The ambitious endeavor is an effort to make Saudi Arabia more appealing to investors and tourists, and it showcases the countrys immense wealth.

Designed by Morphosis Architects based in Santa Monica, The Line will span an impressive 105 miles (160 kilometers) in length, towering 500 meters high and stretching 200 meters wide. These dimensions equate to a whopping 8,350 acres or 13.5 square miles, surpassing the combined area of the Principality of Monaco and Gibraltar. The city will feature both residential and commercial areas, along with a variety of facilities such as a stadium, a yacht marina, shopping malls, and office spaces. To facilitate convenient transportation, The Line will have its own public transport system, allowing residents to traverse from one end to the other in under 20 minutes.

The Line is just one aspect of the NEOM project, which encompasses a larger vision for Saudi Arabias future. In addition to this horizontal marvel, NEOM includes plans for a smart city, a mountain resort, and a water and hydrogen company, showcasing the countrys determination to push the boundaries of innovation and development. While the venture comes with an immense price tag, Saudi Arabias Public Investment Fund (PIF) is eagerly investing its vast resources to attract investors and tourists alike. The Kingdoms unfathomable wealth enables it to pursue ambitious projects like The Line without hesitation.

But Saudi Arabias ambitions do not stop at infrastructure and urban development. The country is also heavily investing in football (soccer). Last year, they secured the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, and now have the privilege of counting on the talents of Karim Benzema, Marcelo Brozovic, and Sadio Mané. Alongside colossal projects like The Line, this investment in sports demonstrates Saudi Arabias commitment to diversifying its attractions and tapping into the global popularity of football.

In conclusion, Saudi Arabia is revolutionizing city design with The Line, a mega-city that stretches horizontally across the desert landscape. This ambitious project, part of the larger NEOM endeavor, is set to be a futuristic and self-sustaining metropolis capable of accommodating millions of residents. With its own transportation system and an array of amenities, The Line will redefine urban living. The massive investment in this mega-city, coupled with Saudi Arabias foray into top-tier football, illustrates the nations determination to position itself as a global player in various spheres.
