With a focus on quality and responsiveness to client needs, Hameds extensive industry expertise and strong client relationships drive success for AECOM. The emphasis on Vision 2030 in Saudi Arabia sees Hamed playing a leading role in AECOMs ongoing commitment to the country. Notable projects in the Kingdom include the NEOM International Airport and the AlUla executive program management.
Under Hameds guidance, the team in Qatar is nearing completion of the Ministry of Transports award-winning bus infrastructure development. This project aims to electrify all of Qatars bus services by 2030. In the UAE, Hamed serves as a trusted advisor to clients and has secured contracts for large-scale projects with Aldar and Miral.
AECOMs Sustainable Legacies strategy goes beyond ecological concerns. The company actively listens to clients and communities to provide comprehensive support that brings about lasting change. Recent achievements include the appointment to a high-profile sustainability advisory contract and being named Green Consultant of the Year at the ME Sustainability Innovation Awards for the second consecutive year.
Hamed strongly believes in the value of a diverse team and actively promotes equality, diversity, and inclusion (ED&I) initiatives. Additional ED&I accomplishments include improved maternity benefits and the launch of the Alliance mentoring program.
Beyond business operations, AECOM and Hamed demonstrate a commitment to community welfare. Employees participated in a kayaking event in Abu Dhabi to learn about and support the preservation of mangroves. The graduate committee also organized the distribution of 4,200 Iftar meals during Ramadan to laborers working across project sites in the UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain. Furthermore, AECOM has organized donation drives to provide assistance to those affected by natural disasters and to support women and children in need.
